Craft Hope, and Project Maxwell

Just thought I would share this very cool website that is Doing Something to make the world a better place, it is called Craft Hope They have done 2 "projects" already, one was sending childrens dresses and shorts to a shelter in Mexico, the second was sending dolls to children in Nicaragua, and they are wrapping up a third (hats, booties and blankets for newborns in India) with a fourth in the works... I am excited and plan to try to take part as long as my skills will be able to manage whatever the new project will be...

Also on a similar note, my friend Rachel is still collecting Blankets for Project Maxwell. She will be donating blankets to hospitals for those who have lost their infants. She has collected quite a few already but there is always room for more...So if you are interested Check it out here....Sugary Frogs

Happy Pioneer Day Utahns

Well I am missing Pioneer day as the fam is getting together in Utah at Melissa's place. But I guess we are stuck in NY, and I guess Luke will be happy that there are not any fireworks here tonight.
So in honor of Pioneer day here is a pioneer story that is cool and we have been to the place...
Hole In the Rock....This is Allie and I enjoying the view... can you believe how little she was?The marker for the site, that is now covered with Lake Powell...
The "hole" in the rock that the wagons came down, pretty scary if you ask me!

Here is the story from Mormon Times

house

dumb camera battery died...so these are some of or new rooms....I am not a fan of all the Flowery wallpaper and valences but whatever, I am down with the bench seat that has storage and cedar lined drawers...dinning above entry below....
foyer...Not a fan of the big picture either but hey what can you do... right?
bath, HUGE, there is a cabinet you can't see right to the right of the sink don't dig this flower picture or wallpaper either...
bed, this will probably be our room, it is the biggest room and smallest closet...Phoebe's closet is HUGE, a walk in, so maybe I will just use hers and let Adam have this one. The kids room is just a touch smaller than this one, but has an ugly wallpaper boarder, I hate wallpaper by the way.

Of course the camera died here and I didn't get a picture of the other bedrooms, or the very pretty living room with fireplace and built in bookshelves and entertainment center that of course won't fit our TV. Or the kitchen, but soon enough... consider this a teaser.

our new place.....Updated

So excited to decorate this porch for fall!
*I will clarify that that small building on the side is the garage, which is Huge. And the 3rd floor windows are the Attic, which we haven't seen, the stairs going up there are pull down so it will probably been storage only space is my best guess, though if it nicer up there, I may put my sewing room up there as a "get away" But we will see, there is a finished basement, which is likely to be my saving grace this winter. But the Kitchen is AB FAB! Also we are moving stuff over this Thursday, but won't probably be moving in till the 17th of August, technically the 15th but my friend is getting married the 15th so we will be in Upstate NY that weekend.
Aren't all the patio space awesome! I love it. bike riding ball bouncing areas! yeah!

family Fun

Well I thought I would share a family tradition...The kids love making pancakes.. but when we make pancakes, we like to make them in cool shapes. Like...Bunnies...

Flowers...Snowmen....pumpkins...We have also had Mickey Mouse, lady bugs, turtles, worms, caterpillars and many other fun things. It also helps the kids actually want to EAT! Which is a win/win for us!~

While we are at it...

Phoebe Six Month Photo shoot

Well I finally got around to doing Phoebe's Six month Photo shoot... Even though she is pretty much 6.5 months old now...She has come a long way, she can sit, crawl, pull herself up say Dadadadadada, Babababa, she is probably going to walk shortly from the look of things... Not so happy about that but can't stop them! She is sweet and full of love, I adore the sparkle in her eye, she is cuddlie and full of love for her siblings, she sees them and her face lights up!

This one says Give me a Hug!

I know this one is blurry below but it is SO Phoebe that I had to add it in!

About me....

I love school supplies...Did you know they are already out in the stores, I love office supply stores, I could look at the pens all day long. I love paper, and note books, clips, crayons, Super sharp of course... ahh heaven.... It reminds me of the movie "You've Got Mail""Don't you love New York in the fall? It makes me wanna buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address..." Joe Fox

I love the smell of sharpened pencils! I love Fall
I know it is still July, but our weather feels So much more like fall...Just hold off winter, I am not your biggest fan.
I bought a new notebook, and a pack of refill paper Saturday in celebration... Plus the notebook was 15 cents!

Promised pictures

Thankful Sunday/Update

This week was long, and kinda hard, but we made it! Wednesday Adam had Softball for work, which is kinda a waste but whatever, the kids enjoy going out to the parks except some of them are at really creepy downtown locales Yuck! But we got to eat at our fave. Mexican place that night, and the kids were Really good, so I am not complaining! Thursday Adam ran a 5K, and I got to see a chick runner Pee her pants right in front of me... that was thrilling. But we met some people that Adam knows from dental school and they have a cute family, and I am excited to hopefully get to be friends with them. We did a tour around the carnival and decided it was Way too crazy for us and went home. Then Adam was on call Friday and of course had the 1:30am deal, then we helped friends get a dishwasher Saturday, then packed up some of out house stuff. Today I taught a lesson in Relief Society at church, and Adam got called into the hospital, thank Heaven Rachel watched Phoebe for me and thank you Phoebe for being a good girl for her even though you where super hungry! Thanks Rachel!
So that is why I have been so sketchy lately, hopefully things will pull back together soon! Oh wait we are going to be moving, forget it...see me stable in September OK?
This week I am planning to go visiting teaching, to the Library for kiddie time, feed our friends hubby, go to Yoga (fingers crossed), visit friends, go to a dehydrating class, go to the Art museum on Friday when it is free, pack up some more stuff, well that is enough right?
No pictures it isn't working but I have very cute ones of the Baby Bee... So Tomorrow...Stay tuned
