Lots of fun stuff

My naughty boy, knocking off all the pumpkins and laughing!
First I have to say I love my hubby, and I am so glad that on Wednesday they let him come home early! He let me have a 2 hour nap! It was Wonderful! Then he rubbed my back and it pushed on the lower part and all that pain went away! I slept well last night, and felt pretty darn good today!
I love you Adam, for letting me sleep in this morning too, it was wonderful! So I went and had my blood drawn this morning FINALLY! it was so fun! Actually it wasn't as bad as I thought....They only stuck me once which was better than 2-3 times...hopefully that will be it for me till my IV... YEAH! :O( Hey it is my blog I get to whine if I want to...
Anyway after that we headed out to the Clarence Great Pumpkin Farm, Playgroup went yesterday, but we went as a family today, Have to love Jewish holidays, Dental daddies get the day off from school! Adam doesn't get many full on Days off, so it was pretty wonderful except I kept thinking it was Saturday all day! We then came home for the rest of the day, and enjoyed the day, reading books, running around outside, riding bikes...
Now I am cutting out my shades and pinning them! Progress! amazing! Hopefully I will finish them up in the next week! Then we can get our plastic wrap up on the windows, since it is getting to be that time of year again! Sadly I keep waiting to wake up to snow!
I love this picture of Allie, she is getting so big!
Below are comparison pictures....Boy has Allie grown!

Big Momma and kids, I don't feel as big as I look, Hmm, camera angle? Probably not probably denial!
This is how the kids have been sleeping lately, together in the crib! Oy I guess I am glad they love each other but boy are they silly!

Today may be rough...

The kids woke up at 6:45, I felt like I had been sleeping all of 20 minutes before they woke up...I had not nice crazy dreams, and peed a few hundred times, Allie woke me up for a drink... Yup it may be rough today...So Nap time will be MINE! Zzzzzzz
Luke loves to stick his head under my shirt... so I look down and this is what I see...

Congratulations Tanner family!

Well my friend Sarah had her baby boy today! Yeah! I was lucky enough to get to go take his picture this evening. He is so cute and has the chunkiest cheeks ever! Here are my favorites from the night.

Extra thankful Monday...

Well after a long crazy kid filled, wild riding weekend, I was too wiped out last night to even sort through my thoughts. Conference was great, what I heard of it... anyone with kids knows unless they are sleeping you really don't get to hear All of it! But I will say I had some wonderful thoughts and very much felt the spirit touch my heart. President Monson's talk Sunday morning was wonderful, that is totally something I have been thinking about for a while now... Loving my kids as much as I can taking in Every moment, not missing as much for silly reasons. Realizing all those Cheerios I picked up yesterday I am someday soon going to miss. My cute cuddley kids are going to soon be too big to be held and cuddled. I don't want to miss that! I try to make sure I love Adam as much as I can touch his arm look at his face, LOVE him everyday, not to just take him for granted. I am so unbelivabley blessed to have such a great husband, his sacrafices and hard work have worn him out, and torn things apart at times, but we have managed to still be in love and to still be going at each day at a time. Still encouraging each other through our trials, and not losing sight of our goals. Not everyday is perfect, we all have hard times, our family is Wonderful, we are so blessed, so watched over. Sometimes I am amazed when I think about the fact that we have no NEED, we want of Nothing that isnt' just an extra really...we have food, a nice home, cars, clothes (even if I don't love them, I never do anyway!) soap, dishwasher, washing machine & dryer in my basement, our children are healthy and happy as can be, we live in a safe area were we can go out to play, and we have some fun neighbors who love my kids like their own grandkids! WE are Blessed!
I am so thankful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! I am so happy to know it isn't all doom and gloom, that there is HOPE, that God knows and loves ME little me, imperfect ME, he knows my struggles and my trials, my hopes and dreams and he helps me out on my path, and sends me love and encouragement, I am so grateful for that! I am thankful to have a wonderful family, I am thankful my momma is my friend, I love her so much! I love that she loves my kids and spoils them the best any grandmother could. I love my sisters in law who deserve just to be my sisters, which they are, they are such good friends to me and love me, and Adam's Parents who have always treated me like one of their very own...They have gone out of their way to love me and our family, and have done crazy things for us, (like drive all our belonings across the country in a "comfy" moving truck) My kids are so blessed to have such great Grandparents who love them so much!
This morning I was reading one of my daily blogs, C Jane Enjoy it And she said something I thought was dead on! So I am sharing it here..."Sacrifice? Is there really such a concept for mortals? It always seems that the going without yields more return, making the original sacrifice not a sacrifice at all. It's an imperfect conversion.
To which I am fully converted."

I am so thankful for all the love I have been given, for the friendships I have made, Like the Prophet said, things change time doesn't last always the way it is... we shall soon be moving from here and leaving behind some Fabulous friends, who I will miss dearly, but thank heaven for the internet and blogs, and phones! I am just going to be thankful for all the things I have and will learn from my great friends and aquaintences in the time I have to learn it. My God bless you all with love and comfort in your trials... count your blessings and enjoy your journeys!
This is my Thankful Monday!

Conference, Friends, cars and JDubs Oh my

Well if that didn't catch you attention well you are numb...My day was Crazy, but fun (mostly) Jessie B, Heather, Tina and Whittney came over today to watch Conference and have lunch together. But before they arrived I have a "lovely" visit from some Jehovah's, YIKES, we have never had them and of course they have to come the ONE day Adam isn't here! Oy so after "talking" to me about stuff for a while, and contradicting the things they had just said and begging me to take their pamphlet I had to walk into the living room for Allie, so I grabbed a Book of Mormon, I walk over to the door and say Sure I will take yours and I am offering you another witness to the things you say that you believe from the Bible... The guy says No thanks, so I say well then I am not taking yours either, and hand it back to him. Then he says Well that is too bad, and I say Yup you are right it is too bad!
YIKES! Stressful! Well anyway everything after that was fun... Lots of Great food, great fun and crazy cute kids running around having a blast playing together!
Adam on the other hand had a crazy day, the NERB went well, (as well as a stinkin' test goes) And on the way home he was driving and went to go down this street and the light changed and he had to hit the brakes hard, well guess what The WHOLE peddle broke under his foot. (You didn't know he was that strong did you? He has been working out) Well anyway he coasted through the intersection, thankfully the person coming stopped and let him pass...he got into a gas station... and another one of the guys they were with at school saw them and stopped, and they got the car to some sort of brake place down the street.... Thank heaven he was watched over! Kinda crazy and scary, time for a new car! ( I didn't want to drive that thing anyway!)

NERB day, in other words HUGE test for Adam

Adam is currently off taking his Board Exam, (one of them) and it is HUGE, so please keep him in your prayers, and thoughts! I know he is going to do well, he is a great dentist! It is pretty much an all day test, so we will see him later at around 3:30 ish... what a waste of a Saturday! So I am having a get together here at the house for the Abandoned wives. I will update later with pictures and all that... but my thought for the moment is IT IS TOO COLD, TO FAST!! I am not ready for this Jacket weather, sweater OK but no it isn't that... it is full on! I am starting to think making it out of Oct. without snow isn't going to happen! Which I don't like to think about. I am baking cinnimon rolls this morning to warm up the house... Yummy!
Well Happy FALL!
Enjoy Conference!

Baby shower present....

No one tell Heather...Well I finally finished a project! Yeah! I got out of the house and headed to sewing club last night and got this cute baby towel done! I love the ribbon accent I think it is so Girly and cute! I learned how to make the hat bigger which is better since the ones in the past I have made have been outgrown Too fast or just don't stay on at all! So I guess next I am going to have to whip up a Blue or maybe Green one for my little Lucas since he shares the pink one with his sissy! Thankfully he doesn't care... YET! Nice this was this took only like an hour total, (took me a little longer but now that I know what I am doing and I could do it without kids much faster!)

UPDATE....I just had to add that today I heard a noise I hear every year that strikes fear into my heart and and a chill into my bones...What is this sound you ask? It is the sound of my windows in our front room rattling... why would my windows cause such fear? Well I will tell you...My windows in the front room ONLY rattle when winter is coming or here...Yup I said it WINTER! Why they don't rattle all summer long I have no idea but they don't they Only rattle with cold weather, and as I walked through the living room today I heard that noise and I stood still wondering what on earth that noise was, then it hit me...I just want to cry! I better get my curtains made!

The cute ones...

Well not much new going on here, just been keep on keeping on... Kids are good, Luke had a dr appointment last week and he is a 25 pound cutie! He is doing well, growing good. I had a dr appointment yesterday, baby is doing good, she is a feisty thing, they put the doppler thing on my belly and she had a FIT, she went Nuts kicking and flipping around. She doesn't like anything touching her or pushing on her... which means when my bladder gets 2 drops in it WATCH OUT! She gets mad! But all is well... Adam is doing well as you see below interview are going to be starting in a few weeks, Buffalo and Toledo are in Oct., my birthday is coming up, Halloween, then the maddness really begins in November! I am tired thinking about it... but I got one project done! I will post pictures of it later since it is a present...Well that is all for now! It is rainy and cold here, so it is lovely typical Buffalo weather! I am dreading winter!

Yup they love each other!

Dr. Shepherd...2 more interviews...

Now we are up to a total of 6! This is getting crazy!
Adam has been invited to Baylor (Dallas, Tx), Buffalo, Toledo, Oh, Washington, DC, Cincinatti, Oh, and Providence RI!

Thankful Sunday

OK Warning, this one May be long...
Last night was the Relief Society General broadcast. I went to church and stuffed myself full of chocolate, and then sat down for a lovely set of talks. I have to say that I am so thankful that the Lord knows us, that he has sent leaders who are loving and take time to teach us the things we need to know and need to hear. I can tell you he knows me, I have had some hard times the last little bit, nothing Huge but big to me. And I can tell you that I was amazed when President Uchtdorf said just the thing I have been bugged by and told me Not to let it get to me and to do my best. He said many things which I am sure touched many hearts, and said just the thing they needed to hear. And I am thankful that he said just the thing I needed to hear, he said "Don't let fear paralyze you." I kinda feel like I have been doing that, fear of just about everything it seems. But I will say that I have been trying harder to be fearless. I try to remember more often what it says in 2Tim 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
He also talked a lot about Creating beauty all around us and within us. I love this thought, I love to create things and he again reminds us that what we create doesn't have to be perfect, he said to start small if we need to and that when we start feeling down and thinking we aren't good enough to Think Again! He said women tend to undervalue themselves and that is just not how it is. No we may not be perfect but that we have So many talents within ourselves that all of us have talents they may not be the best voice, or sewing amazing things, or crafting, scrapbooking, cooking, or anything like that it could be kindness, friendship, peacemaking, problem solving, but we all have them. I love the uplift I felt from his words, I feel renewed and able to work harder. I even offered to teach a class on making the little baby hats that I have been making for a long while now on the looms and 4-5 people signed up! I am so excited! Not that that is some Fabulous thing but Hey I can share that with others, and I am excited.
I have also realized this week a few other things that have bothered me for a long time are just not true and I have made goals to be a better person and mother and wife and daughter. I feel like I have more love in my heart and more room to grow and improve. I am excited and happy. I feel like I am full of the love of Christ. I am thankful for my many blessing and happy to be me!

The busy time of year is starting, I can feel it! October always bring on the Fall rush, and I blink and the next thing I know it is January and I have 4 months of waiting for spring! Sad I know... So I am going to try hard to enjoy each day and accomplish as much as I can, I have lots of work to do not only to be ready for the new baby but also for Christmas and birthdays and the other holidays coming up. Still looking for present ideas for the kids! Mostly Luke, Allie has a lovely list going! haha She sees anything on TV and she wants it for her birthday! I am looking for that Mega T Rex dinasour for Luke so if anyone sees that for cheap some place let me know...I think 50 bucks is a bit much! (garage sale friends if you see a good one cheap but that puppy for me... or call me with the price... haha)

Ok so Like I said I am long winded today! I am thankful that my kids love Books, tonight Luke and Allie and I read about 5 books, They just love it and before getting put in his crib Luke grabbed a book and stuck in in his crib to "read" before he falls asleep.. He is so cute! The picture below is Lucas reading to Allie it was very cute!

Some Fall in our home....

Today we broke out FALL...
We changed the Stars in our window to Pumpkins...
I love decorating with Cookie cutters...
Ignore my dirty stove, and I will ignore the fact that,
that pumpkin towel doesn't absorb anything! It is just pretty. Pumpkins and BYU Football, It is fall that is for sure!

Here is the random story of the day...We went to Wegmans because my friend Alexis has these Glade Plug in things in her bathroom and they smell FAB. So I printed a buy one get one coupon and headed over to make my bathroom smell yummy too...Well Of course they didn't have any, duh why would they? And Luke was being fun as always at nap time when I drag him out. So this "very nice" (crazy) lady in front of us is being REALLY slow, and talking to me and the kids which is fine, but then the check out guy has finished with her and moves on to us, so she starts loading up OUR stuff in her cart. Hmm, Allie FLIPS out, Those are MY marshmallow maties! So Allie grabs that box, Haha funny right she is just teasing... No she grabs the Shredded wheat too... then my bag of air fresheners, then my other bag with the rest of my cereal etc. Well I keep grabbing my bags out of her cart, and Allie is getting ticked, the check out guy is asking How would you like to pay???? Lady won't move her cart, and is wondering why I am taking bags out of her cart..."Are we going to barter" she asks, Haha, yeah Um NO. I finally have to tell her He is all done with you and we need to pay now... OH ok well bye! Yup Bye! Thankfully she didn't make off with my stuff, but that was Odd to say the least.
On a good note my Sister Melissa Won a 2 night trip to San Diego from a radio station in Utah... Very cool cause if anyone needs a vacation besides me it is Melissa! Way to go!

Where's the Beach... This way!

Why we always end up at the beach in the fall is beside me, probably because it is Free! But it was great just to get out there and let the kids run and not be worried about them at all, the water is shallow for Miles and there is no one really around so it is wonderful! Luke Loved it he chased seagulls, and dug in the sand played in the water, and passed out in the car 2 seconds after leaving the beach! Wonderful! Allie had a blast to and also is now sleeping soundly! We SO need a yard for these kids to run around in!
Maddie and Rylee were so cute in their matching suits!
Poor Rylee was working so hard to try to fill up that bucket and every time she went back for more water Luke dumped the bucket! It was funny and she never noticed!
What a cute bunch, Luke, Noah, Allie and Maddie (Rylee was on a potty run)
I love both of these of Luke, boy he is soooo cute and just the sweetest! This one is SO my kids, Allie skipping and Luke "exploring"
Noah LOVES Allie, Allie loves Noah too, and I just love this picture of them holding hands! And above Noah looks so proud he got Allie to go with him!
