2nd day of First Grade

Since I drove her yesterday I took pictures today at the bus stop... which was in stark contrast to yesterdays, 80+ degrees, this morning it was 65! brr....I guess Winter is on it's way. Yuck! And lucky for Allie her Grandpa and Grandma came to see her off... How lucky!

Meet the teacher Day

Today was Meet the teacher day for kindergarten.... So we headed over to the school and found Allie's desk, there was already an assignment! Find your locker, Bathroom, put away all your school supplies, tour the school and find the gym, cafeteria, and art room...
Here is Allie and her new teacher.... last night she was scared and today she is much more excited. Her teacher seems very nice.

Party Time!

Well it is that time of year, Adam has started his LAST year of dental school! YEAH Hip Hip Hooray! But with that first week comes lots of get togethers, we had a birthday party with the Fox family Tuesday night, which the kids had a BLAST at, the yard was really wet and there was a fabulous puddle all the kids played in, Allie met a great friend the Foxes son Lucas and they were just buddies. Lots of good food and lovely people to talk with! Lots of first years! Oh First years, it is so funny to see their eyes light up when they hear we are 4th years!!! I remember being them it feels like it was yesterday! But anyway I didn't bring my camera to that one so I stole a picture of the Fox Blog. It is Luke, and some boys playing in the puddle lets just say they were WET!Then Last night was the Senior party at the Beautenmullers house. We ate played Wii, the boys played some Fooseball, and kids had a blast! Again another fantastic party! I was thinking about how weird it was that in like 9 months all of us are moving on, just seems weird! We have some really great friends here!

We also got to watch some Olympics last night we put our antenna out the door and on the porch in front and it finally got NBC! So we were up late watching some fun Swimming...Tomorrow is the All School Picnic and Saturday we may be going to Rochester to the Strong museum... So talk soon! Have a great day!

1/2 way there baby!

Adam finished his last final yesterday! YEAH! He hung around last night and we worked in the basement, he cleaned his office of stuff from the semester that will get packed away, and I went through the baby clothes and got rid of some things I never liked to begin with to help make room for Luke's out grown stuff. Then Adam went to a friends and watched the Jazz game. They won.
My question for the day is why do kids feel this crazy need to wake up at 6am even though they didn't get to bed till 9:30?
It is going to be so nice to have Adam home, he has one test today to take and then done, then the grades will hopefully be done soon! They start Spring Extensions on the 8th. That is only a months worth so that won't be bad.
Adam was saying that his friends brother is an Endodontist and he has been out of school for 2 years and has all his loans paid off and his house and has 3 horses and only works 3 days a week! HOW WOULD THAT BE?! Right now my little brain can't even understand how that would feel! "Oh Honey something expensive broke!" Panic right? NO wait we can afford that! Hmm that has been a long time.... No wait that has never been the answer! That will be a great day!
Well that is my thoughts for the day, Allie and Luke are laying on the floor together laughing like mad! Crazy kids, it is really cool how they are interacting now. They just love each other so much!
