Some days are rough...

Well getting ready for My mom and Creig to come into town tomorrow night, had a friend over today, No nap for Allie, Daddy had a bad day at school, I am tired and have a headache, Allie tap danced on Lukes fingers first thing this morning, then the kids fought going to bed even thought they were Whiped! A friend ended up having some issues with her pregnancy today, though that is all worked out till tomorrow at least, missed a ton of phone calls, Feeling bigger than every! It rained most of the day, I don't sleep well, Waiting for BYU football to start....
Well anyway today was a longer than normal day! Hopefully tomorrow will be better!

I just have to mention this....

I would feel totally bad if I did not add to the spirit of Love that seems to surround this whole blog world when it comes to NieNie and her family.
[DSC_7008.jpg]

I know many of you probably don't have a clue what I am talking about, but there seems to be this crazy string of small airplane crashes lately, makes me glad to have both my feet on the ground, but you may know I read a ton of crafty blogs, and one belongs to the above mentioned NieNie...On Saturday, August 16, 2008, Stephanie & Christian Nielson were in a plane crash with his flight instructor, Doug Kinnear, near St. Johns, Arizona. Doug Kinnear passed away soon after arriving at the Maricopa County Hospital. Christian has sustained burns on over 30% of his body. His wife Stephanie’s body was burned over 80%. They are currently undergoing the beginnings of several rounds of skin surgeries. Their four children are in Utah with family members while their parents are with them in AZ although they are in Medicaly induced comas.

Personally my heart is so broken, I just can't even imagine what their family is going through. And since I can't really do too much to help, I figured the best I can do is just share their story. Below are some things that have been set up to help out the family with their Medical bills and household management.

C Jane Enjoy it, Stephanie's sisters site has updates and other ways to help

Well, it isn't all done of course but I cut these squares out last year, or was it the year before? Anyway I finally did something with them! I am thinking now I will add some larger squares for a boarder and make it a little Christmas Quilt for the Baby. What do you think?

Some days are just sweet...

Two kids taking a nap at the same time, Priceless!
Momma even got a Long relaxing shower!

Thankful Sunday

Well number 1. My talk went well and it is over! I had several people say that I did well, I owe it all to Heavenly Father cause it was a jumble that turned out lovely because I kept praying for it to work out well! I would have been happy if just one person needed to hear what was said but I had a few people tell me that it was just what the needed to hear. I am Very thankful for the guidance on that one! I am also thankful I didn't lose it up there and start crying at the beginning cause I don't think I would have made it through!
#2. I won something! Can you believe it? over at The Merry Church Mouse I won a giveaway!
It is a little outfit hand made just for Allie! I am so excited I never win anything! YEAH!!! I was so shocked!
#3. I am thankful for a cute little girl, today in primary they talked about bad choices, they talked about stealing, and gave a little story and said is this a good choice, of course everyone said NO...Then Allie yells out, Yeah if you do that they will throw you in the dungeon! OH boy! She is a ham! She has been watching Rapunzel!
#4. I am thankful for a sweet boy... after yesterday's Toothpaste episode, this morning he was eating breakfast and making these cute faces, I just looked at him with a look in my eye saying I love you, and he looked right at me and said "I love you", I melted! I gave him a big hug and he hugged me back and wouldn't let me go for a long time and then even after he did he was holding my hand and then pulled me back in for another hug after a minute. So cute!!!
#5. I am grateful that Adam helped me out with my talk and gave me encouragement. I love you Adam!
#6 glad we had a guest for dinner, Whittney came over for dinner, hopefully she is ok with us just treating her like one of the family cause Allie talked her ear off and showed off probably most of her dance moves! (reminded me of a young girl named Chantel!) WE loved having W. here! Thanks for coming over! You are welcome back Any time!

Messy Messy

Sheez you leave a kid alone for 2 seconds....
I was trying to work on my talk for tomorrow and Luke was "watching" Cars... HAHA, Adam took Allie to school, then slowly this Medicinal Officey smell starts getting stronger and stronger... Hmm, that isn't good so I go look, Toothpaste! All the way down the stairs, no wonder it was getting stronger! Yikes kid! Lots of scrubbing by Adam and a little by me later it was clean... Fun!

Oh and I finished the book, All I will say here is I was So Not impressed, I kinda thought it stunk, but I am a finisher and so I had to finish it... What a waste! Sorry any fans!
On a good note, I got these pants at Target, and I LOVE THEM! They are so comfy! AHHH

Well just in time...

The library has come through for me! I get to spend my lonely days and evening since Adam has started school reading this!

Breaking Dawn

Breaking Dawn

Book Four in the Twilight Series

So we will see how that goes! I am excited just to have it done really, I know sad, Does she become a vampire or does she grow up? Hmm, I guess in a few days I will know!

Just so you know... Dental school SUCKS! Yes Senior year was supposed to be a sweet relaxing last year of hell, but no alas it was not to be... Adam was informed that with the NERB (board) exam they have to turn in 2 projects a week that are going to probably take about 5-6 hours a week on top of any normal lab work he has for patients, then the Exam is on Oct 4th, which he was informed they like to fail you because then you have to pay another $2000 dollars to retake it... Then interview will probably start so he will be on the road and managing his work here (which equals Stress) Then we have the National Boards and the written part of the NERB, then we have a baby! Then in March more NERB This NERB is getting on my nerves! Anyway, that is my complaining for the day....FUN huh? Needless to say things aren't as fun as I was hoping they would be. And they days are much longer than I enjoy them to be.

Oh PS, I am speaking in Church on Sunday too!

Just some things that make me happy....

I love love love this flower from my patio, I love the orange, it is beautiful!

I think it looks like a sunset.

Ahhh....Choo!
I love my girl, she is sweetness!

No pictures of Luke, but he is sweetness too, I put him down for a nap today and I could hear him singing in there so I peaked in the crack of the door and he has one of Allie's dolly's and he is holding it and singing and just playing with it! So cute!
Adam is back at school full time this week, so that is exciting, this is it folks! Scary, I can't hardly wait to find out were we are going next!
One thing that makes me not happy is Maternity clothes! Each pregnancy I have been different shaped, and sized, so saving my old clothes did me NO Good! I am too big for my smaller stuff and too small for my huge stuff, AHHHHH Even my great Sis Amy sent me a ton of pants, but sadly my Ghetto bootie is making most of them not presentable for Outside of the house wear. Oh well, just had to get that out! At least I am more than half way, I just hope my babe in there slows down or I am going to be a TANK come December!

Thankful Sunday

*I am thankful for all the fun stuff we have had the chance to do...
*But I am thankful that we will soon be returning to a normal schedule.
*Don't hate me but I am thankful the Heat of summer is over, I am getting to big to enjoy that right now. Mostly the Muggy part!
*I am Thankful that Adam rigged our antenna so we could watch some Olympics, it has been fun to watch even though it is throwing off My 2nd thankful item.
*And last I am thankful I am a little more than half through this pregnancy, I am not enjoying it much this time around. But for you who wonder how HUGE I am see below....

Zoo and more crafts...

Buffalo Zoo trip, Well today we made it to the Zoo, It was and amazing Zoo, well ok it wasn't it was an Ok Zoo, kinda small, it was hot and we walked so much I was so tired by the end! So I guess it was big enough!
The tigers were beautiful though and very playful!

My cute kids doing what they love, trying to get wet!
This time with window shades...I have wanted to do something like this for ages and I actually found this shade pattern last year but didn't ever get around to doing it, but I can't stand the thought of another winter without being able to have some light in my living room... You see we have crappy single pane windows and it is FREEZING so we have to put up that shrink wrap stuff... and the blinds are INside so I have to close them or they will be open all winter long...So this year hopefully I will get this project done and be able to have light! Amazing light! So below is the material we picked out, mostly not because we LOVE it I mean we like it but mostly because it was 50% off the sale price so it was reasonable! Below are two other fabrics I bought, Allie loved the red and gold and wants a dress made out of it... I got that piece for 86 cents. And the other is Fleece I fell in love with, I got that for 4 bucks! Not bad really it is almost 2 yards!

More fun no pictures!

Are you excited no pictures! Anyway Allie Luke and I went swimming in our complex pool last night but it started thundering and lightning about 15 minutes into it. So of course it was out of the pool and go home... Lots of work for little reward. Oh well So Allie and I went today this morning while Luke was napping and Adam stayed home with him. Then we went to the All School Picnic, the kids got dirty and had lots of fun and as always we were Literally the last people to leave! But the kids had fun! We went to Wegmans and got some Ice cream and had a lovely thunder storm, I think about everyday we get one! Kinda stinks! the temps drop about 15 degrees, so there goes the nice day, but I guess it cools it off for night. I also got rid of my bookshelf today so that is gone I am sure Adam is thrilled since he hated it. Oy! Now we will have room for a Christmas tree when the time comes!
Well really not much going on...we may go to Rochester tomorrow but I don't know what we are going to do yet. Our last Hoorah before school kicks in Full force!
PS Luke just brought me the Ipod and made me put one in my ear and one in his and he is bopping his head to No Doubt! Silly boy!
OH and my biggest news.... I bought MogPodge, even though I have no idea how to use it, and I found a craft, I got some "Cars" fabric and I had some Princesses fabric and I am going to make the kids pillow cases... that should be fun! I am excited and so is Allie she has wanted me to do that with hers for a while! I am sure Luke is going to love his! So I am excited! I also realized I need to make new baby a stocking for Christmas... So that will be next on my list!

Lots of good food and lovely people to talk with! Lots of first years! Oh First years, it is so funny to see their eyes light up when they hear we are 4th years!!! I remember being them it feels like it was yesterday! But anyway I didn't bring my camera to that one so I stole a picture of the Fox Blog. It is Luke, and some boys playing in the puddle lets just say they were WET!Then Last night was the Senior party at the Beautenmullers house. We ate played Wii, the boys played some Fooseball, and kids had a blast! Again another fantastic party!
