Southern Utah, Vegas, Colorado, Missouri, Home... Now Vermont...
We spent about a week with our friends in southern UT, we went boating on Adam's birthday, he went knee boarding and was pretty awesome, since the strap wouldn't do up. Then we drove all around St. George checking things out, went to Down East Basics and got myself a new pair of shades for 5 bucks which are awesome. Then we headed down to Vegas, we stayed at the Golden Nugget, they had a cool pool with a shark tank in the middle and a slide that went to the middle of it. We hung out on Fremont St that evening and enjoyed the lights show. The kids thought that was pretty amazing Allie was dancing and loving it...Lucas actually sat in the stroller and let us push him everywhere....And Phoebe was the biggest attraction in Vegas... Everyone thought she was so cute all these people would be smiling at me and I would smile back wondering why they were all so smiley... then would remember the cutie on my chest in the baby bjorn...We spent then next day swimming, we went to the Strip in the evening to see the water show... It was cute Allie kept calling it the Golden Chickie Nugget.... Well you know it is a great place for kids to remember. Then we went back up slept packed up for the millionth time and headed out for home...
One quick stop at Grandma Bessie's house for lunch and off to Colorado. Which was very sad because we missed most of it in the dark! There was tons of snow up there though and the tunnels were very cool! That night we made it to Limon Co. Where we stayed a the Sleep Gold Inn... or something like that, It had gold in the name but it was NO Golden Nugget... No lights in the bathroom, TV didn't work, Shady red spots on the carpet....(it was NICE) Actually it was scary. The next day we drove through Kansas and pretty much the whole way I was thinking about how I could NEVER live there becasue I would be constantly terrified of tornados...It was all I could think about till Ohio. That night we slept in the worlds most expensive Motel 6, but it was Very Clean, and so nice not to be worried about anything from the bed eating me for dinner. The last day the big Push for home. The kids were so excited they stayed up the whole time. We got home at 1:30am... they were so thrilled to be home! So were we, but Alas it wasn't to last, we unpacked half our stuff, did laundry, repacked, cleaned out the van, and reloaded it... jumped in and headed out for Vermont... We got here to VT at about midnight and we were all so wired we were up till 2:30. Today we washed our van, cleaned off 2300 miles worth of bugs, and dust, it looks much nicer now! The kids and Adam had a water fight. It was very cute I have fun pictures I will upload tomorrow.
Other random things that have happend in the last few weeks....
* Phoebe no longer swings
*P. no longer needs to be swaddled to sleep
*Luke no longer needs to sleep in a crib, he learned to stay put on a bed
*Luke is starting to potty train. (self induced, so we will see how that goes)
*Allie is getting too smart for her own good...
*Allie should win an award for the best traveled Non-celeb child. She has been all over the place
*P. gained 3lbs....
*Chantel lost 5lbs!
Well that is all I can think of.
I am tired so I am going to bed... pictures to come.

Adam was the taxi service... every time he pulled up to camp one or more the the kids were standing there yelling ME NEXT!!!!!
Luke was thrilled to "drive" the buggy, amazingly he knew he had to push those pedals and flip the switches... Kinda scary, watch out for this boy.

SLC with the Pecks/Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house
We met up with our friends Adam and Maria Peck at the Garden restaurant at the top of the Joseph Smith building. They had the roof open it was pretty cool, I haven't ever been up there before. Then we walked around temple square and the kids played in the reflecting pool and I mean In...
It was beautiful and it was so cool to see the Salt Lake Valley from the other direction, Allie loved it to go in the temple she kept telling me how no one had gotten married there yet, and then at the SLC temple she told me Lots of people got married there. It was pretty cute... Luke was his usual reverent self, kicking screaming, bumming tic tacs off the temple ushers...Crazy kid couldn't wait to get outside, and then to his delight they gave out cookies and kiddie sized water bottles. Oh joy!
