Thankful Sunday

I am thankful that Phoebe is a good sleeper, she went to bed at like 8:30 and she slept through the kids running around our room screaming, me vacuuming, Luke trying to climb in her bassinett, and then crying when he didn't get his way.... Still sleeping... Good girl!

I am thankful that Allie loves me so much that she cries when Adam told her I was going to be a grandma someday....

I am thankful that although a beast at church, Lucas is a love at home, (sometimes) He has started hugging tight and it is so sweet!

Well today I found out that Adam is now a member of the National Dental Honor Society...Which is a big deal I guess, out of 87 students in his class, he is one of ten to receive this award. It is a vote from the top 20% of the class. So I am really proud of him and all his hard work...And with this goes a lovely annual banquet on May 6th...

So it seems I need to get exercising more and need to find 2 cute dresses instead of just one for Graduation... So if you see anything let me know.

I liked this dress from Down East Basics but when I went back there tonight it wasn't there anymore... weird...

Spring in February....

Well yesterday and today are lovely, and I haven't seen so many people out and about in their yards and walking and just generally hanging outside since October...Western NY has badly need a break from this long yucky winter... But like Adam said too bad we all know that this IS Not the beginning of spring but merely a break from minus zero temps...So we went for a walk yesterday and enjoyed not having to Bundle Everyone up before I could even open the door...And today we will probably do the same...Enjoy it while is lasts I say cause we are going to have snow again tomorrow.

Thankful Sunday

Count your many blessings.....

We sang this song at church today Count your many blessings, name them one by one, Count your many blessings see what God has done. I can't tell you how thankful I am for all that God has done for me, I am so blessed to have a wonderful family. I am so thankful for our children and for their Love and Health. They are strong wonderful children and I know that my life if fuller and more meaningful because of them. I am so thankful for being a mother, knowing that Love is so wonderful and rewarding. It is a healing agent, it helps me to be more patient, more understanding. I am learning and growing all the time.
I am feeling Extra Extra thankful for all that I have been blessed with tonight, my heart is full, I have just read about a beautiful family who just lost their little daughter to cancer after only knowing for about 2 wks. I just can't imagine what they are going through, I pray for them to have strength and to have support.
Count your many Blessings name them one by one! Adam, Allie, Lucas, Phoebe....I have been blessed abundantly.
Allie, my beautiful sweet girl, she is my little momma, she is full of love and kindness, she woke up early this morning and got Adam and my clothes out and put them on the end of the bed for us, she even got Adam's watch off the floor and put it near his clothes. I just love her smile!
Luke, my love! He is my snuggle bug, he is so cute and full of energy, I love when he falls asleep in my arms. Today he picked to fall asleep on the kitchen chair though. Just too funny. If we don't have another boy I will be so sad, Luke makes me love boys so much! I want another one just like him! (Allie said tonight that we can't name him Luke though cause we already have one)
Phoebe, our baby, so far she is very mellow which I love, she is growing so fast, and she is learning to suck her hand now. She had a million adorable little faces. I love them all, I am so excited to see the little person she will grow to be.

Adam, I have learned so much because of you, I have grown so much because of you, you drive me crazy, you make me laugh, you give me joy, you are everything to me, I am so blessed to have you as my companion, why you ask, because I am a better person because of you...I love you Adam.

Target=Sweet warm retreat

Well when it is -6 outside, and there is a Global warming conference in town...what can a family of 5 do? Go to Target of course!

But you know things never turn out like you plan... My crazy kids chased balls, ran around like they had been kept in a cupboard under the stairs their whole lives, spilled drinks, begged for toys, ran away, hid, and almost got hit by a car (Allie)...It was eventful...But at least they slept well. And Momma got some new shoes for $5! They are pretty cute. They had them in Yellow which I love love loved but of course they didn't have in my size! Boo hoo!

busy day

Well Tuesday night Phoebe had a growth spurt and I was up all night feeding her! OY! So Wednesday I was not going to just sit around I was tired but needed a break from our four walls! So we headed out to Playgroup at Rachel's house, and Of course we were there till Forever! Sorry again Rachel! Allie loves playing there, she is buddies with Lilly and she loves Lilly's brothers, well it is a strange relationship, they fight, and on the way home Allie told me Mom I want to go back to Lilly's and fight with her brothers it is fun, they are fun! OK, then she told me that her daddy taught her how to sword fight on Star Wars! Oh boy! Lilly told Allie You're in love!! Allie said No I am not in love....(she just likes to fight!)
Then we came home and got dinner stuff done, Luke was Crashed out on the couch, Baby Bee ate a ton more, then I went to Recipe group in the evening, Can you believe it!?!? Two outings in One Day!!! That is like a record! Recipe exchange was fun! Lots of talented ladies sharing recipes, can't go wrong... Though I left my recipe there on accident I was going to bring it home and type it up to email Sorry Megan and Crescent if you find it let me know! There were like 4 dips, artichoke, spinach, Vegetable, Which one did Eliza bring cause it was yummy, I am sure they all are though...Megan made Hummus and these fabulous Pita bread chips, YUMMY! So anyway my point is it was fun to talk to big people~ Thanks ladies!

Luke had on Hot nap, I came upstairs and he was Under Allie's down comforter, and I pulled it off him and it was SOAKING wet and so was Luke!

Thankful Monday...

Well I know I have been slacking on my Thankful Sundays, but yesterday was busy...
I went to Church for the first time since Baby was blessed back at the beginning of January, which was the first time since the second week of December and I missed a bunch in November too since Adam was out of town. So I feel like I am inactive! I looked around and didn't even know who a bunch of people were which is bad for in the middle of the winter in summer that would be normal. I forgot I didn't even know where to pick up Allie since her class changed... and I sat through classes and was able to semi follow what was going on!
SO I will say I am thankful for church, I was thankful for Ryan D's Sunday school class, I felt like I actually could apply what was being taught to my life right now. Not to mention I learned something new! Always a good thing! Phoebe slept through almost all of church which I know won't last for long so I am going to enjoy it while I can!
Saturday night was awful... I don't know why really but it was crazy, and the kids just went NUTS and so did I! By the time Adam got home from his party I was over the edge...But I am better now. Getting out really helped me remember that I am not the only one who can go nuts. I was rejuvenated and feel ready for the week... I have a plan too... I am thankful for my new desire to organize, I have set things for each day to get done. And I am already started the laundry and got the garbage out. So I am feeling good!
No pictures... I am thankful that I can grow and learn... Even when it hurts! (well not maybe WHEN, but after I realize it is ok and I can make it!)
