I Walked down the stairs just now and this is what I found.....

And now they are saying if the wind keeps up it may be Friday before people get power back! There really is no snow Falling it is just all being blown up off the ground... I am so glad we got out yesterday for a lovely walk in the balmy 49 degree weather! -4, SICK!
Keep us in your thoughts... I am praying our power doesn't go out....Some people up the roads power went out that we go to church with but they are really lucky and have a fireplace and gas stove. Well, we will hang in here, I am hoping the Dental school power goes out! hehe but I know it won't! Darn it!

Some cuteness and a Ryder update...

Today was wonderful it was 49degrees! HEAT WAVE! So I got the kids out and we went for a walk and played outside, it was Wonderful...Oh Spring Spring! I am so sad that you are still 3 months away! Now Adam is sicky! :O(
Luke passed out on us last night it was so cute he was playing and than nothing, Allie is like Mom Lukey is sleeping! Yup he was! Doesn't he have the Cutest toes!!!

Last night President Hinckley passed away, I didn't find out till this morning... I am so happy for him, yet sad for me and the world. This man was probably one of the greatest. The things he has done and seen are unbelievable, yet they happened. He did more in his lifetime than most of us could imagine. My heart is very sad, He is like my extra Grandpa, I love him greatly, Allie loves him so much, she was totally obsessed with having him over for dinner! She is so silly. One of my favorite things he has said is, Try a little harder to be a little better. I have this in my living room, it is so encouraging to thing just a little will do a lot.

A few years ago we got to go to the Christmas devotional in SLC, I remember sitting in the conference center which is HUGE, and thinking how loud it was with all the talking and shuffling and the buzz of people. Then all of a sudden it was SILENT.. like we could have heard a pin drop instantly Silent, I looked up at the stage and you could just barely see President Hinckley at the side just ready to walk on stage, the feeling and Sprirt he carried with him was amazing, I could feel the love he has for us. It was one of the greatest experiences, I wish I could have met him, but I guess that will have to wait!

I don't even really know what else to say but I am just so Thankful to President Hinckley for the sacrifices he made, for the life he lead and for the guidance he has given. I pray that the Lord will greatly bless his family as I am certain they will miss him so much.

Sicky...Again...

My sweet kids are sick again! I am going to put them in a bubble! We only went one place this WHOLE week! obviously that was the "right" place! Oh well hopefully they will be back to normal by tomorrow! But dang they are cute! Even sick!~

Among all the sickness, A girl can dream right? We went and looked at this camera last night... How fun would that be......

Allie and I made these hearts about a week ago, Aunt Melissa wanted to see them so here they are, Allie did a really good job cutting out the hearts and she loves to use Glue so that is great!

The fire, which was reported around 11 a.m., spread from the center section of the hotel across the roof before appearing to ease about an hour later. Fiery debris fell to the street below, and orange flames lapped at the casino's script sign.There were no immediate reports of injuries.

Ok we were just this summer staying at this hotel! It was really creepy to see this picture... I am a paranoid type anyway, but I just remember going up the elevator and getting off the ceilings are really low in the center section of the hotel...and I was struck with that Creepy What if! YUCK! Today was What if... thankfully it sounds like everyone was safe...Good thing it was during the day probably most rooms were empty! Creepy!

Looking back at 2007, here are some thoughts:

1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before? Not much...Went to Lake Powell...Was a Mommy of 2 cute kids...started a blog.
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year? No, probably not, but thankfully I don't remember what they were.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? sister-in law Jennifer and Julie, my good friend Kiralee just barely, cousin Chelsea, and a bunch of friends.
4. Did anyone close to you die? My 99 year old great Grandmother.
5. What countries did you visit? None stayed home...
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007? More money? that isn't going to happen! A new Camera? Ditto!
7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory and why? None really, I guess the kids' birthdays... my babies are growing up!
8. What was your biggest personal achievement of the year? Getting out to do grocery shopping, and making dinners, and "managing" with 2 kids and a Dental school hubby.
9. What was your biggest failure? Lots of yucky dinners, my experiments... Adam eats them anyway and tells me they aren't as bad as I think they are.... Failure isn't a positive word... so we will leave it at that.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Nothing big...
11. What was the best thing you bought? A 2nd car!

14. Where did most of your money go? What money? Oh the few bucks of birthday money? Probably to the craft store to keep me sane.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Christmas was so Fun! Watching my kids grow up and learn, mostly Lucas since he learned so much this last year.
16. What song will always remind you of 2007? None really... or not that I can think of anyway.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you: a)happier or sadder? b) thinner or fatter? c) richer or poorer? I'm MUCH thinner Much!, but I'm still happy as ever and about the same amount of poor that I was last year.
18. What do you wish you'd done less of? waste time....haha
19. Did you fall in love in 2007? Nope, but I stayed deeply in love and had that Love grow for my Adam and kids!
20. What was your favorite TV program? Super why? Word World... we only get PBS... I guess we watched one episode of Amazing Race which was awesome...
21. Do you hate anyhone now that you didn't hate this time last year? I don't hate anyone.
22. What was the best book you read?
23. What was your greatest musical discovery? that there was a semi-normal station to listen to here in Buffalo that wasn't Canadian
24. What did you want and not get? A mini-van... dreamer I know.
25. What was your favorite film of this year? the new james bond... Oceans 85... which ever one it was 13?
26. What did you do on your birthday and how old were you? 30, Yeah we had a lovely party.......
27. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? If we lived closer to family...
28. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007? it was the same as it has been for the last....... years. at least 6.
29. What kept you sane? Am I sane? Crafting and sewing on occasion. Getting out of the house.
30. When you think about 2007 what sticks out in your mind? Kids and the Utah trip
31. Best moment of 2007? Playing with my kids and Adam watching Luke become the little man he is.

YOGA

Another great night at Yoga~ KICK MY BUTT! I love it my arms are sore today, I have very weak left side! Crazy! But I can already feel so much of a difference in my body. I feel energized! If you want to give it a try here is a link to a routine called Sun Salutation routine
It is nice and feels good! Do about three of those and you will feel it! Yoga is NOT for wimps!

Tickets! Allie played some games and won the Jackpot! 132 tickets! then the machine ran out of tickets part of the way through so the kid gave her about 4 extra chances and she ended up with 147 tickets! Crazy kid she LOVED it!
