Mission organize...
OK so Three kids have beat us up...I was pretty well on my way to getting organized and before baby Bee, I was pretty good 85% of the time... But now life is just one tired messy day after another...I am keeping my house clean for 5 of the 7 days of the week, dinner happens 4 of the 7 days, and I get rest 2 of the 7 days. Laundry is taking 5 of the 7 days instead of the normal 1 of the 7...things are getting backed up way too easy and I am passing out the second Phoebe falls asleep, Adam is wanting to crash about 8pm every night too. And Allie and Luke are wanting to stay up till 10 at least...So you see the problem is we need to fix this problem!
Back in the Old days I had a friend who was a Fly Lady freak, (not that her house was EVER clean but I guess at least she was trying!) Anyway, I learned a few tricks like shine your sink, which have stuck with me and I love having my sink clean now...Weird I know! I joined their yahoo group today, and am hoping it will give me some more tips. I did already gleaned a great idea, I have never had luck menu planning, but she says for a month write down everything you eat then you know what you make and can go from there to make you plan, I thought that was a great idea!~ So I am going to try that out.
I need to find some way to get time for myself and create, but it just isn't happening, I don't have time with Hubby, and that I need too, he does too... when I forget to say HI how are you? and just look at him as he walks in and continue to do whatever it was I was already doing that isn't good!
But I guess my point is that I am calling out for help. How do you keep organized and what are your tips and tricks? I am open to any idea besides giving in and letting the kids run the place, since that hasn't seemed to work! :O)
Seriously If I don't have any comments on this post I am going to go NUTS! Help!

Boo Hoo...
More snow... No comment, Baby was up till Heaven only knows when probably 3am last night, I am so tired! thankfully the kids have been good today and we had no place to go, though I did have good intentions today of actually making it to playgroup, and Yoga but hey Maybe next week!
Oh and just to let you know I am over staying here, I am excited, besides the weather. But it could be worse, and it is nice to not have to move too far which will save us money. I have good friends here so I am glad to not have to leave them all, I will be sad when the Harkers and Cleggs take off though...You guys are great!

The Big News is......
To: ADAM N. SHEPHERD
This message provides you with your Match result for Phase II of the Postdoctoral Dental Matching Program for residency positions beginning in 2009.
Congratulations! You have been matched to:
Institution: CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF BUFFALO/SUNY
So we will be staying here in Buffalo for 2 more years! These are all good things, Adam is loved by the assistance down at the hospital, and we know the other residents, They are actually All from Adam's class which is Crazy!
So YEAH! We matched, we are planned out for the next 2 years...Life is good!

Thankful Sunday
Luke Loves Phoebe, she cried a little bit and he ran over and sat next to her
in the bouncer seat patted her head and kissed her... It was so cute!

Today I am thankful for having good friends, and being able to hang out now that life is a bit less crazy.
I am grateful that my kids got out and partied last night they slept late and are in bed early tonight.
I am thankful that Adam and I have sat down and set some goals to meet by May first.
I am THANKFUL Tomorrow we will know where we are spending out next two years...
I am thankful for Adventures, for life not being totally boring all the time. My 3 kids keep me busy and on my toes and keep me learning and growing. I am grateful that the Lord has seen fit for me to be a Mother, it is the best job, the hardest job, and the sweetest job out there...

Crazy for Obama
Ok, this is slightly political only because the subject is the new President Obama...
Is is just me who is kinda freaked out by the fact that you can buy almost ANYTHING with a picture of Obama on it? Stickers, shoes, shirts, underwear (ok I haven't seen Undies but I am sure they are out there!), shoelaces, dolls, car clings, movies, enbrodery, posters, legos, cupcakes, Well pretty much anything... little print offs to stick in to your cupcakes... Seriously, to me it is kinda Creepy... There is even a whole (I am sure there is more than one) website devoted to crafts with Obamas face on them...Now this morning what drove me over the edge to express my creeped outness is that you can now Crochet Obama....

fun photobooth
Life has been pretty mellow, trying hard to wait till Monday. It is Match day...Our big day we all hope! Adam got his part 2 board score back, and he passed well which is fabulous since he really didn't have time to study, between baby Bee, and interviews...Yeah Adam, I told him it meant he learned it all the first time and has great recall...
Kids are well for being trapped in with this lovely weather, which I am thankful for, I am mastering one handed typing, and becoming a yahtzee master...I think i am going to try to teach Allie how to sew while Luke naps. speaking of Luke, last night we took the rail off his crib and made him a big boy bed...he was in awe, and jumped right in and covered up...Hours later he fell out, which I think scared him tons, I picked him up and put him back in and he was right out again! So that is good. We went to Walmart last night and the kids made friends with a little girl there Allie kept trying to get them to come over to our house! I love how kids just make friends so fast, no questions asked...
We got our Ensign yesterday and I think it is a GREAT one! There is an articla about the Functional Family and it is full full full of great ideas and tips, Also I loved the Hearing and Heeding the message from the grove too, I have a great plan to take our family there before we move and take home our own physical reminders of that sacred place.
I also wanted to share this great thing I read on another blog...supermom It is a stay at home moms advice and how she does things it is inspiring...She talks about actually staying at home being Great, like Not filling your day with outing and things to do, which is something very cool that I never thought of in that way... I love the idea and have always been a fan, and not having guilt about it anymore is great too...

Been to the Doctors....
All three kids have been to the Doctors in the last 2 wks, so I thought I would tell you how big they are...
Allie (5) is 42 inches tall and 40lbs... which is right on for weight and just a little under average for height. Perfectly healthy and all caught up on her shots... which she wasn't happy about... but she survived with a little help from some donut holes and hot cocoa... (which we needed brrr)
Luke (2) is 34 inches, and 26lbs, which I don't really remember the precentiles of but he was pretty normal... Also perfectly healthy! and caught up on shots too...
Phoebe, 3 wks, 8.5lbs and 21 inches tall, Of course our doc declared her perfect and beautiful which of course she is!
So now you are all up to date!

Random pictures....And love for Amy J.
Daddy Tradition...
Look at that cute dimple!Although this picture below seems Totally Random, it is important! My good friend Amy J. brought us over a frozen meal...Even though she was Moving halfway across the country! She says it is no big deal but don't believe her, she is fabulous! Well then I actually got around to reading what was on the "instructions" and I just laughed and laughed! Amy I love you! You are the best, and when I let it sink in that you moved I will be so sad, right now since I am skipping church and not getting out I am pretending that you still live 2 streets over! You are missed, even though I am in denial!

2008
January, I got my camera, Adam and the kids got their TV, we went bowling, we had some fun... Not much, pretty mellow...
February, we went to the Car Show, our annual tradition. Allie loves fast red cars...We went to some fun parties, we played outside while it was mild and we stayed in snug when it was freezing...In March we said good bye to our friends the Axtells who escaped Buffalo for slightly warmer weather outside of DC...Allie had to say goodbye to her best friend Alex...It was a sad time for us...We also ourselves headed south to DC and visited with Amy and Munich and Munchie, we stopped in Hershey PA and Luke got terribly sick and shared with several of us... Fun times!
April... We finally got out the door into tolerable weather! We got out to the Park several times, Allie had a cleaning with Daddy Dentist, things were coming to life.
May, Allie had her very first stage performance, She did WONDERFUL! She is a great dancer, She also got a big girl bike, and Luke rode carnival rides for the first time, they were a big hit! We also found out about baby Phoebe, we were very excited for #3.
June was pretty crazy, Adam went to the Dominican, we went to Vermont, We had lots of corn on the cob, and spent lots of time outside! We also were very busy getting Adam's Pedo application put together.July, This month got even crazier! We jumped in the car and headed out! First Providence and Boston, then off to Wisconsin and Utah....The kids got Very used to their car seats this month, they loved it though! We stayed in lots of fun hotels and saw lots of Zoos and many other crazy things along the way, then we got family and friends in UT. Then we got lots of the same on the trip home! LOTS OF McDonalds... though we tried hard to find Wendy's!August brought on BYU football season, and lots of friends to watch with, Adam went to Canada camping, Allie had swimming lessons, Nona came for a visit, we found out Phoebe is a girl, another trip to the zoo, School started up again...for the last time!September, Brought parties, my growing tummy, Cookies, The beach, fiting in out last fun outdoor things before winter....Lots of laughs, Lots of love!
October, A few more road trips, Ohio for Adam's first interview, Pumkin patch trip, hanging out with friends, we hit up the fall fest, And just started realizing that things weren't going to slow down for a while!November, LOTS of interviews, Lots of Daddyless nights, A tired Momma, Reading book after book with daddy when he was home, eating yummy turkey, sharing time with friends, feeling a bit of pressure from all the things going on...Starting to wonder when our little girl was going to make and entrance! Lots of gettting things prepared for the next months celebrations...
