The funniest kids I know!

Hey there! After yesterdays long post I will try to keep this shorter...

*I am thankful for the fact that they finally fixed our basement water issues this summer since we are having some Lovely rain and My basement for once is NOT flooding!

*I got a nap today and slept pretty well last night so that is something for sure to be thankful for!

*I am thankful BYU hasn't lost yet!

*I am thankful for some good friends who picked us up a nice little bouncy seat for $15! Thanks Kendra and Crescent for helping us out!

*I am thankful that it is going to be cooling off! With all this Humidity and being so hot it makes it hard to breath!

* I am thankful that Allie will be starting Dance again this week she is soooo excited! And it will be a good thing to have to get out of the house at least once a week! haha
*Allie also wants to tell you that she is thankful for her new Belle Dress and the the tiara I got her too. She looks so pretty!

I love this picture they have the Exact same look on their faces, it is just cuter than cute!

Busy Saturday

My reader girl! and My tired boy, you know it is a rough day when you fall asleep with your popper!
Well today started with a bang, or really a scream. Allie came in our room EARLY like before6:30 saying her leg hurt or her knee or something but she managed to wake up Luke in the process, so he was screaming, and Adam got Allie medicine, but we had stayed up a bit later than normal for us so Both he and I were wiped out! It was so hot and humid last night I didn't sleep well, so then the kids got up and I put on shows for them and tired to take a nap on the couch which didn't work so I went up to Allie's bed and slept there for a while, but then I could hear Luke Banging something really loud, (so there is the Bang!) So I went downstairs and tried to nap again down there, then I realized it was 9:20 and we had to be at church at 10 for a primary activity...So I got Adam up and got dressed and ready to go, we picked up some of our friends kids too, and made it to Church on time! So we stayed there till Noon and I was STARVING! So we came home and went to Wegmans to pick up some lunch, Adam had taken Luke to the Hairdresser and managed to get himself a new patient too! He also got his car inspected since it was expired since July! Oops! And went to the bank and the fabric store. So then he went to the gym and I can't really remember what I did, I think I just watched the weather channel.... Then we went over to the Davies for the BYU game... Which was pretty amazing for BYU the score was 59-0 against UCLA. Way to go Cougars! But after half time they had all the second strings in and it played out more like practice than a game so it was pretty boring! And sad really! Then we came home and cleaned up the house gave the kids a bath, and now Luke has passed out Allie is reading (see above picture) and Adam is listening to BYU aftershows....I am writing your ears off! Wow this is wordy!
Anyway, I am SUPER tired, I feel like I have been hit with something, my body is achy I can tell my ribs are expanding! Ouch! I feel 35 wks pregnant! Crazy baby! It has been a long week!
We are going to be getting some of that Ike storm, it has been raining really steady all day for the most part, and tomorrow is the same then Monday too... so hopefully we don't float away! Wish us luck!

Lots and lots...

Well thought since we have some China in there we might as well give you some Italy too! Our friends Sheyna and Shane (below) recently returned to their mission in Italy and are kind enough to share some pictures with me, since I will never get to Italy! But the bums had to move away on us so I just have to say also that I miss them terrible! Allie misses Alex too!

And Her Highness received a new dress up today from Nona, THANKS NONA!!! Allie loves it, it is a bit long maybe she will grow before halloween, or prehaps I will just have to hem it up a bit!

And lastly, not to scare you or anything but Boo that is me! YIKES! I am 25 wks pregnant! Wow, Wow! That has so many meanings I can't start to explain!

Although in Hong Kong he still manages to show up once a week...

My Brother in law is in Hong Kong, and yet still manages to get up at 3am to come to our house and watch the BYU game with us! haha, Lucky for Ryan technology can keep up and let him watch his beloved Cougars even from across the world... We emailed him and asked him if he was wanting to watch this weeks game, (since it was earlier) and he emailed back "What do you think!" Adam said he would do the same, at first I thought He is Nuts, then I remembered he has no kids there! He can go to church and then sleep in the rest of the day if he wants! Well the other good news is BYU won by one so hey, you know Go Cougs!

Thankful Sunday....

Ok since Every week I say I am thankful for Allie and Luke I decided I am just going to try to put a picture I love of them, so you will know I love them and I am thankful for them but I don't have to say the same thing EVERY week...How does that sound?!? Easy right?
Ok so This week, Allie and Luke were so cute! One night before bed Lucas becoming a professional procrastinator like his sister decided he wanted to lay in bed with Allie, and then that turned to hugging Allie which was Super cute and too good not to get a picture or 5 of! So that is what this is from...This picture say love to me...

LOVE

~Well today I am thankful for Goals, I am thankful that we have the chance to renew our selves and to become better that we were before. We have the chance Everyday to do something we havent' done before be it learning to make something new for dinner or sewing something, or even just reading a book about something we are interested in. That is just cool to me! I don't think I do it enough! Today in Relief Society they gave out a paper were you plan your goals and it has a place to mark off that you are actually doing your goal, I thought that was just cool, nothing monumental or ground breaking but I though Hmm, I need to do that! So now I have it!
~I am thankful for FALL!!! This new baby is so high and she is just up under my ribcage and I have the hardest time breathing...So the freash crisp air is much more pleasant than the hot muggy air that has been around. Fall to me is the Get things done time of year, I don't know why, it just is! I have a ton of projects lined up, my curtians still waiting to be started, Allie's skirt still to be planned, Lukes pillowcase to be made, I am also really wanting to make a blanket for baby. Baby hats to knit, and about a million other little things I love and can't wait to do with the kids this fall. Fall is for sure my favorite time of year. I am thankful for each one!
(except the year of the October storm when that ruined all my motivation... Snow in October = YUCK!)
~I am thankful for the quite time I get when all "3" of the kids let me nap and then when I wake up they are still all sleeping...Like right now!
~I am thankful for my friend Heather who let me borrow too many books, but I am loving them...Alexander McCall Smith's The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency is Very cute I read the first too books in like 2 days! They are Very cute, clean, reads, so if you are looking for a book suggestion there is your tip of the day! Plus they take place in Africa which is cool to me because I love to learn about new places that I never would have known much about.
~Hmm, what else, I feel like I have so much spinning around in my head, but nothing wants to pop out in solid understandable form, I am thankful for Adam, of course, I am thankful that he Loves me even when I do stupid things. I won't say more about that! haha
~Well I guess for this week that will be it, it is kinda growing long. Just know I am thankful for the many things God does for me and my family, they keep us floating along, and help us to be happy, we are blessed to want of nothing, and for that I am truely grateful!

Amazing...

I really LOVE how every morning when Luke wakes up at the crack of dawn, he is SO thrilled to see me! It is like he hasn't seen me in years! He is all love and hugs and just wants to be held. How can I stay mad at that! Even if it is Quarter of 6?

Baby update

Well, I had Doc appointments today, a ultrasound to check the baby's heart again, they saw something fishy last time that worried them, but thankfully it is just fine and looked perfect! Also to check my placenta, it was slightly covering my cervix 4 wks ago but is now out of the way so YEAH!!! I am right on track, now it I would just go get my blood drawn like a good little girl! Naughty I know! I hate needles! Anyway just thought I would give that update!
PS we are accepting name ideas! Names are so hard!

Congratulations Munich!

Don't you feel special, your own post on my blog! Wow, you are amazing! Say hello to the Newest citizen of the United States of America...At least one of them! Yesterday Munich passed his test and was sworn in! It has been a long time since he applied and we just wanted to say YEAH!!!! Congratulations! Amy said she would post pictures sometime, geez you would think she was busy or something! She only has a new baby! We love and miss you guys!

Some days are rough...

Well getting ready for My mom and Creig to come into town tomorrow night, had a friend over today, No nap for Allie, Daddy had a bad day at school, I am tired and have a headache, Allie tap danced on Lukes fingers first thing this morning, then the kids fought going to bed even thought they were Whiped! A friend ended up having some issues with her pregnancy today, though that is all worked out till tomorrow at least, missed a ton of phone calls, Feeling bigger than every! It rained most of the day, I don't sleep well, Waiting for BYU football to start....
Well anyway today was a longer than normal day! Hopefully tomorrow will be better!

I just have to mention this....

I would feel totally bad if I did not add to the spirit of Love that seems to surround this whole blog world when it comes to NieNie and her family.

I know many of you probably don't have a clue what I am talking about, but there seems to be this crazy string of small airplane crashes lately, makes me glad to have both my feet on the ground, but you may know I read a ton of crafty blogs, and one belongs to the above mentioned NieNie...On Saturday, August 16, 2008, Stephanie & Christian Nielson were in a plane crash with his flight instructor, Doug Kinnear, near St. Johns, Arizona. Doug Kinnear passed away soon after arriving at the Maricopa County Hospital. Christian has sustained burns on over 30% of his body. His wife Stephanie’s body was burned over 80%. They are currently undergoing the beginnings of several rounds of skin surgeries. Their four children are in Utah with family members while their parents are with them in AZ although they are in Medicaly induced comas.

Personally my heart is so broken, I just can't even imagine what their family is going through. And since I can't really do too much to help, I figured the best I can do is just share their story. Below are some things that have been set up to help out the family with their Medical bills and household management.

She sewed! amazing!

Well, it isn't all done of course but I cut these squares out last year, or was it the year before? Anyway I finally did something with them! I am thinking now I will add some larger squares for a boarder and make it a little Christmas Quilt for the Baby. What do you think?

Thankful Sunday

Well number 1. My talk went well and it is over! I had several people say that I did well, I owe it all to Heavenly Father cause it was a jumble that turned out lovely because I kept praying for it to work out well! I would have been happy if just one person needed to hear what was said but I had a few people tell me that it was just what the needed to hear. I am Very thankful for the guidance on that one! I am also thankful I didn't lose it up there and start crying at the beginning cause I don't think I would have made it through!
#2. I won something! Can you believe it? over at The Merry Church Mouse I won a giveaway!
It is a little outfit hand made just for Allie! I am so excited I never win anything! YEAH!!! I was so shocked!
#3. I am thankful for a cute little girl, today in primary they talked about bad choices, they talked about stealing, and gave a little story and said is this a good choice, of course everyone said NO...Then Allie yells out, Yeah if you do that they will throw you in the dungeon! OH boy! She is a ham! She has been watching Rapunzel!
#4. I am thankful for a sweet boy... after yesterday's Toothpaste episode, this morning he was eating breakfast and making these cute faces, I just looked at him with a look in my eye saying I love you, and he looked right at me and said "I love you", I melted! I gave him a big hug and he hugged me back and wouldn't let me go for a long time and then even after he did he was holding my hand and then pulled me back in for another hug after a minute. So cute!!!
#5. I am grateful that Adam helped me out with my talk and gave me encouragement. I love you Adam!
#6 glad we had a guest for dinner, Whittney came over for dinner, hopefully she is ok with us just treating her like one of the family cause Allie talked her ear off and showed off probably most of her dance moves! (reminded me of a young girl named Chantel!) WE loved having W. here! Thanks for coming over! You are welcome back Any time!

Messy Messy

Sheez you leave a kid alone for 2 seconds....

I was trying to work on my talk for tomorrow and Luke was "watching" Cars... HAHA, Adam took Allie to school, then slowly this Medicinal Officey smell starts getting stronger and stronger... Hmm, that isn't good so I go look, Toothpaste! All the way down the stairs, no wonder it was getting stronger! Yikes kid! Lots of scrubbing by Adam and a little by me later it was clean... Fun!

Oh and I finished the book, All I will say here is I was So Not impressed, I kinda thought it stunk, but I am a finisher and so I had to finish it... What a waste! Sorry any fans!

On a good note, I got these pants at Target, and I LOVE THEM! They are so comfy! AHHH
